Since it was born in 1963, Tucai has not stopped evolving. It started as a small company in Barcelona dedicated to the manufacture of flexible hydraulic connectors for the automotive industry.
In 1986 was when the company redirected its business towards the manufacture of hoses for the plumbing sector, taking advantage of Spain's entry into the European Economic Community, so that Tucai products began to be sold in other countries.
Later, in 2002As a result of the success in selling beyond the Spanish borders, the company created a 14,000 m2 plant in Ningbo - China - with the aim of supplying its products to OEMs in Asia, North and South America, South Africa and also to markets in the US.
By 2007 Tucai does not want to leave the Eurozone behind, so it establishes a production center in Silistra - Bulgaria - thus facilitating the distribution of its products with the main objective of improving the service. Tucai wants to be close to its customers.
As a company already well positioned in the plumbing sector, in 2014 Tucai decides to expand its line of business by acquiring Talleres Mecánicos Manterola - TMM - , a company with over 40 years of experience in the manufacture and distribution of valves.
And so until today in 2024, 60 years later, in which Tucai has become a Spanish multinational company that has established itself as a global leader in the field of connection systems, both in flexible and in valves and fittings for water, gas and other fluids.
